Etalek Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd is committed to operate the business in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974 and to maintain occupational safety and health standards that equals or exceeds the best practices in the industry. The Company will strive to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses through the active participation of every employee.

Accordingly, the company policies are to:

* Maintain a safety committee which consists of management and employees to increase safety awareness.

* Ensure that the workplace satisfies health, safety and welfare requirements for ventilation, temperature, lighting and staff facilities.

* Provide information, instructions and supervision to every employee.

* Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health & safety.

* Ensure that all employees are competent to do their task, and provide them with adequate training.

*Maintain a set of codes of practices and procedures relating to health and safety.

* Provide appropriate protective clothing (if required).

* Ensure total compliance with legislative requirements and standards.

* Consult with our staff regarding arrangements for implementing, promoting and developing health and safety at work.

 * Prevent accidents and cases of work related illnesses.

It is our policy that our safety rules shall be strictly observed at all time. Staff and management must constantly be mindful of their responsibilities individually and collectively for the safety of themselves and their colleagues to achieve a record of zero accident.
